This Data Processing Agreement (“Agreement”) forms an integral part of the services provided by MCSWA (Make Canada Safe and Wealthy Again) to its members, contributors, and partners. By engaging with our platform, you agree to the terms outlined below concerning the collection, processing, and protection of personal data.
Definitions
1.1 Data Controller: MCSWA acts as the data controller when determining the purposes and means of processing personal data collected via its platform.
1.2 Data Processor: MCSWA may act as a data processor when processing data on behalf of its members, contributors, or partners.
1.3 Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“Data Subject”).
1.4 Processing: Any operation performed on personal data, such as collection, recording, storage, alteration, retrieval, use, or deletion.
1.5 Sub-processor: A third party engaged by MCSWA to assist in processing personal data
Scope of Data Processing
2.1 Types of Data Collected:
Contact details: Name, email address, phone number.
Account details: Login credentials, role preferences (e.g., entrepreneur, investor, or partner).
Transaction details: Donations, memberships, or payment information.
Usage data: Analytics and platform usage statistics.
2.2 Purpose of Data Processing:
Facilitating member registration and role assignment.
Managing project submissions, reviews, and approvals.
Enabling donations and payment transactions.
Improving user experience and platform performance.
2.3 Legal Basis: Data processing is conducted in compliance with Canadian privacy laws (e.g., PIPEDA) and international data protection standards where applicable.
Obligations of MCSWA
3.1 Compliance with Laws: MCSWA will process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, including PIPEDA and GDPR (where relevant).
3.2 Security Measures: MCSWA implements technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data, including:

Obligations of Users
4.1 Accuracy of Data: Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the personal data provided to MCSWA.
